I am a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) intern under the supervision of Allison O’Brien, LMFT at Cardinal Counseling Group. I focus on new parent adjustment, premarital counseling, perinatal mental health, and working with couples and families. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I strive to help individuals and couples navigate the complexities of relationships and family dynamics during life's significant
transitions.

As an advocate for attachment theory, I understand the profound impact early relationships have on an individual's well-being and future interactions. My growing expertise in this area allows me to help clients understand and heal attachment wounds, fostering healthier connections and stronger bonds within families and partnerships.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by new parents, I offer support and guidance to ease the adjustment period. Whether it is coping with sleep deprivation, managing conflicting parenting styles, or addressing communication breakdowns, I provide a safe space for parents to explore their concerns and develop effective strategies to nurture their child's growth while maintaining their own well-being.

Additionally, I provide premarital counseling to couples who are embarking on a lifelong journey together. By addressing potential areas of conflict and equipping couples with effective communication tools, I empower them to build a solid foundation for a fulfilling and lasting relationship.

My passion for perinatal mental health arises from my deep understanding of the emotional challenges that can accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. I offer a compassionate space for individuals experiencing perinatal mood disorders, anxiety, or other mental health concerns, working collaboratively to develop effective coping mechanisms and restore emotional security.

Currently seeking a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University, I combine my academic knowledge with my genuine curiosity and understanding to create a therapeutic environment that fosters growth, healing, and positive change. I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

If you are seeking support in attachment, new parent adjustment, premarital counseling, or perinatal mental health, I am here to guide you towards a stronger, more fulfilling family and relationship experience.
